Description: Casa del Herrero, Santa Barbara’s 4th National Historic Landmark, is noted as one of the finest examples of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture in America. Designed by architect George Washington Smith in 1925, the 11-acre estate offers a glimpse of the Montecito lifestyle circa the 1930’s. Furnished in 14th-18th century Spanish antiques, the home is surrounded by extensive Moorish-styled gardens. Reservations required.
90-minute, Docent-led walking tours are $20 per person, ages 10 and up.
Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., mid-February through mid-November.
