Art From Scrap to Unveil Artful and Educational Plastic Planet Exhibit

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

This week, Art From Scrap will debut Plastic Planet, a group exhibit of all-plastic art pieces, in an effort to demonstrate the beauty, flexibility, and commonness of the miraculous multipurpose material. The creative, quirky, and one-of-a-kind exhibit-which runs now through Saturday, October 24-is not only pleasing to the eye, but aims to educate about the endless number of ways second-hand plastic can be employed through reuse or recycling. Don’t miss the exhibit’s opening reception this Saturday, September 26, from 5-7 p.m., at the Art From Scrap gallery and studio (302 E. Cota St.). Call 884-0459.
