On this week’s Poodle Radio, Colin Marshall is joined first by Indy reporter Chris Meagher to discuss his cover story on the effects of Operation Gator Roll, Santa Barbara’s largest one-day law enforcement action ever. He’s been following the consequences of the operation since it happened, and has found out much in his research about the people involved, the suspects’ family connections, and the change in Santa Barbara’s level of gang-related crime.

    Poodle Radio #34

On this week’s Poodle Radio, Colin Marshall is joined first by Indy reporter Chris Meagher to discuss his cover story on the effects of Operation Gator Roll, Santa Barbara’s largest one-day law enforcement action ever.

Then, History 101 columnist and Santa Barbara Historical Museum Director of Research Michael Redmon drops by the studio to talk about the inexhaustibility of Santa Barbara history, what he finds its most fascinating chapters, and what it’s like to have been answering curious Indy readers’ questions about their city’s past for more than 11 years. The show’s music, organized by Poodle Radio music producer Aly Comingore, comes from bands and artists like Foster the People, The Hold Steady, and DoublePlusGood, all of whom are scheduled to play S.B. You can tune in to Poodle Radio live every Tuesday morning from 8-9 a.m. on KCSB, 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara or on KCSB’s webcast at KCSB.org.
