Area animal welfare group CARE4Paws will host its Yappy Days Pet Adoption Event this Saturday, August 6, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Ark Pet & Supply (1090 Casitas Pass Rd., Carpinteria) will showcase dozens of adorable dogs looking for permanent or temporary foster homes in the S.B. area. All individuals, couples, or families who adopt a pooch during the event will receive discounted pet supplies and advice from passionate pet experts. Call 637-1892 for more info.
