Autopsy Confirms Mammoth Man’s Suicide

An autopsy conducted Friday confirmed Dr. Andrew Bourne, who was facing several criminal charges connected to an alleged relationship with a teenage girl, committed suicide, according to the Mono County Sheriff’s Department. The autopsy was done by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department coroner. Bourne — a popular doctor and school board member in Mammoth — was arrested along with Joseph Walker, who still faces charges of unlawful contact with a child with the intent to commit a sexual crime and a lewd act with a child.
