I empathize with you & your Dad..Im recieving the same abuse from Cottage hospital & its clinics,for the same illness [cancer]...I have decided that letting nature take her course will be far kinder than any more suffering on my part,at the hands of Santa Barbara`s doctors & nurses.
Im only 48,but its been a hard road & im ready to go...

Also, be sure to read a copy of Cecilia Garcia`s book,she`s a Chumash Plant Dr....where she stresses the importance of NOT putting plants in one`s mouth without proper education....or one can DIE rather quickly.
The plants of this area are NOT endorsed by the FDA & have not been researched,therefore,there are no antedotes.
I`ve seen many try to "use" our local medicines...with terrible results....

You are incorrect about your info concerning us,the Chumash.
Everyone is wrong when they speak of our history,present & future...
Please ask a Chumash person [preferably an Elder or history-keeper] before submitting an article for all to assume to be true.

Wow,Im amazed that after over 200 years of us [Chumash] telling you guys [Foss, et. al. does] what everything means,how to use it, how NOT to use it....even getting Foss her position at SBCC [she does`nt have a degree in "Native Studies",nor does she know what she speaks of] you still get it wrong.
This entire article is WRONG!!!...

How old is "SB"?.... over 200 years yes?
And America STILL can`t get the story right!
You should have posted the other comments on the You-Tube vid. you refer to... it would have shown that Im not alone in my exhaustion over this subject.
So yes, I post in anger ...routinely.
Now that I`ve answered your question, what has changed?.
Will you commit to learning our true story & tell it with respect ?...I recommend against it,lest you fall into my delema.
