Keep wasting money raiding stores doing nothing more then selling a plant, meanwhile that methlab 2 blocks away run by the gang out of LA keep operating. Down the street someone got stabbed, and over in IV 2 cars were stolen. But this is easier, like shooting fish in a barrel.

The feds are really destroying prop 215.
Meanwhile other states are taking California's places as the leaders in this movement.
This just really make me sad. My country, that I served and fought for, wasting billions of dollars on a failed drug war, helping Mexican cartels continue to make money, enabling the violence around illegal smuggling, and propping up the corporate prison system which is now almost 1/2 privately owned...
Corporate greed. It rules the US. Science and common sense is dead..

It's sad to see people still supporting birthers.
It's also sad when people write in, and rather then giving their well thought out views and opinions, they waste our time by crying and moaning about a paper pointing out valid concerns and questionable views.
I think that's what reporters are supposed to do, isn't it?
Rather then insinuate a "left wing media bias", why not educate us of the facts and true positions of the person you support? Your letter made the paper so your views got just as many people looking at them as the original reported did - too bad you wasted your opportunity.

Should copy the model they use in Europe. Paper bags are free, plastic bags cost about $0.10. Banning plastic bags won't work - it didn't in Europe, which is why they changed their model to the one they have today (which works very well).

You don't ban them, you charge for them (like they do in Europe), and redesign then out of biodegradable materials. $.50 per bag if you forgot to bring your own. Simple and effective.

I lived in Santa Barbara for years. The recession forced me to move to where the jobs were - back to the bay area. It really made me mad to see how few jobs are available in the area. It's only for the rich and the city counsel wants to keep it that way!
